Job Title: Resort Groundskeeper (Pressure Washer)
Pay rate: $20.66 per hour.

Summary:
Maintains the grounds of industrial, commercial, and public hotel properties by performing a wide range of landscaping and upkeep tasks. Operates resort‑grade pressure washing equipment designed for frequent, heavy‑duty cleaning to preserve the appearance, safety, and sanitation of all resort areas. These high‑performance machines effectively remove dirt, debris, mold, mildew, stains, and surface buildup from both outdoor and indoor environments. Utilizes adjustable pressure settings and interchangeable nozzles to perform diverse cleaning tasks while ensuring proper care for delicate or sensitive surfaces.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Groundskeeper Responsibilities
- Cut lawns using a mulching mower.
- Trim edges and remove weeds around walkways, flower beds, and walls.
- Prune roses, shrubs, and trees to maintain shape, promote growth, and remove damaged branches, leaves, or twigs.
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides to lawns, shrubs, and trees.
- Rake and bag leaves.
- Clean grounds and remove litter.
- Shovel snow from walkways and driveways.
- Spread ice melt on public areas to prevent ice buildup.
- Plant grass, trees, and shrubs.
- Water lawns, shrubs, and trees as needed.
- Rototill designated areas for new sod.
- Utilize plant knowledge to maintain healthy landscaping.
Pressure Washer Responsibilities
- Operate high‑pressure washing equipment to clean surfaces quickly and efficiently.
- Remove stubborn dirt, stains, and debris from concrete, wood, stone, buildings, vehicles, and equipment.
- Eliminate mold, moss, and algae to reduce slipping hazards and improve surface appearance.
- Strip old paint or finishes when using high‑pressure settings.
Professional Expectations
- Demonstrate a willingness to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

What we are looking for:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree, preferably with one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License required
- Any employee driving a Broadmoor vehicle must be 18 years or older
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Occasional heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs. with assistance) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times.
