What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Engineer (Snowflake / DBT / Azure) position at The Brixton Group?
Duration: 6 months
Compensation: $75 - 85/hr W2
Location: 100% Remote
This is a heads-down coding role — you will spend the majority of your time working directly in Snowflake and DBT to create data products that drive measurable business value.
Responsibilities:
- Write production-quality code in Snowflake and DBT to build the recommendation engine and supporting data products.
- Interface with stakeholders to understand project requirements. Manage sprint tasks and deliver against a defined 6-8 month project timeline.
- Contribute to the creation of net-new feature sets and capabilities for the recommendation engine.
- 3-6 years of data engineering experience
- 3 - 6 years of hands-on Snowflake experience (including writing SQL and building data products in production environments)
- 3 years of experience working with DBT
- 3 years of Azure cloud experience
- Advanced SQL
- ETL/ELT processes
- Data modeling
