Responsibilities
- Lead and manage data management projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks to enhance data quality and compliance.
- Oversee ETL processes to ensure efficient data integration from multiple sources into centralized systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and maintain robust database architectures and data warehouses.
- Utilize SQL for querying databases and performing complex data analysis to support business intelligence efforts.
- Employ tools such as Tableau for visualizing data insights and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Drive Agile and Waterfall methodologies within the team to enhance project delivery efficiency.
- Mentor team members on best practices in data management, analytics, and leadership skills.
- Stay updated on industry trends in big data technologies, including Python, Talend, Informatica, Oracle, and linked data concepts.
Qualifications
- 4-5 years of experience in project management with a strong focus on data management initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database design principles.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools such as Informatica or Talend.
- Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing teams or projects within a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with GenAI technologies and solutions focus on solutioning data challenges for Federal customers
