Data Management Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Program Manager to lead our data initiatives and drive the strategic direction of our data management practices. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analytics, project management, and leadership, with expertise in various data management tools and methodologies. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity, accessibility, and usability of our data assets while fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage data management projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop and implement data governance frameworks to enhance data quality and compliance.
• Oversee ETL processes to ensure efficient data integration from multiple sources into centralized systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and maintain robust database architectures and data warehouses.
• Utilize SQL for querying databases and performing complex data analysis to support business intelligence efforts.
• Employ tools such as Tableau for visualizing data insights and presenting findings to stakeholders.
• Drive Agile and Waterfall methodologies within the team to enhance project delivery efficiency.
• Mentor team members on best practices in data management, analytics, and leadership skills.
• Stay updated on industry trends in big data technologies, including Python, Talend, Informatica, Oracle, and linked data concepts.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in project management with a strong focus on data management initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database design principles.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools such as Informatica or Talend.
• Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing teams or projects within a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with GenAI technologies and solutions focus on solutioning data challenges for Federal customers
