About this role
The HRIS Analyst will play a key role on Bridgespan’s People & Culture (P&C) team, supporting and continuously improving our HR systems, reporting, and overall user experience. This individual will help ensure accurate, accessible, and secure people data and partner closely with HR and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality insights and user experiences.
This position reports to the HRIS Manager and coordinates with HR colleagues across Recruiting, People Operations, Training, and DEI.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support the day-to-day administration and support of Bridgespan’s HR systems (including HRIS, Applicant Tracking System, and performance management tools).
- Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports to support HR and leadership decision-making (e.g., headcount, turnover, diversity, and recruitment metrics).
- Provide timely troubleshooting support to HR team members and employees for system-related issues.
- Partner with the HRIS Manager to plan, modify, and customize HR systems including requirements gathering, implementing new functionality, conducting testing, training, and documenting process and system changes.
- Act as primary owner of at least one HR system (i.e., Lattice) including managing upgrades, potential improvements list, implementing additional functionality, owning the vendor relationship
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR system workflows, improve data capture, and enhance user experiences
- Collaborate with IT and external vendors to set-up, monitor, and troubleshoot data integrations.
- Develop guides and training materials to promote self-service and adoption
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and adhere to privacy and security standards in accordance with Bridgespan's policies and applicable regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
- 2–3 years of professional experience, ideally in the professional services sector, with at least 1-2 years focus on HR systems and people operations, or HR analytics.
- Experience administering, configuring, and supporting at least one major HRIS, ATS, or performance management system (e.g., Workday, UKG, Lattice).
- Understanding of HR data structures, workflows, and system security.
- Strong proficiency in reporting and data analysis (Intermediate to Advanced Excel required; experience with Workday reporting tools preferred).
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong technical support and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to support a diverse, global user base.
- Collaborative, service-oriented approach and willingness to learn.
- Project management experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation discipline.
Preferred:
- Experience with Workday HR modules (HCM, Absence, Benefits, Recruiting, or Compensation) including configuration, security, business processes, EIBs, reporting, or integrations.
- Experience supporting performance review cycles (e.g., in Lattice).
Work Arrangement: This position is hybrid, with some in-office expectations within our Boston office to be defined with the team.

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
