Role Description
The Clinical Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Palatine, IL. This position involves overseeing the clinical operations and guiding staff to achieve the organization's mission of supporting youth and families. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day clinical activities, providing supervision and training for staff, ensuring quality improvement initiatives are implemented, and collaborating with teams to deliver effective mental health and social services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly group supervision for the team to ensure implementation of The Bridge principles and analytic process.
- Conduct individual supervision as needed to target clinician competency needs and to remove individual barriers to effective implementation of treatment and intervention.
- Assure appropriate documentation of clinical effort to allow for peer and supervisory input, and to meet all reporting and communication needs of funding and referral sources.
- Provide supportive and corrective feedback to clinicians to promote client outcomes.
- Provide administrative support targeting systemic barriers to treatment success.
- Assure therapist accessibility to clients when needed at times most likely to promote engagement.
- Assure that all assessments are comprehensive and multisystemic, and provide adequate information to determine the causes and correlates of referral behaviors to direct effective treatment within the ecological context.
- Provide community training and support groups and design in the tactical agency plan.
- Participates as a member of the leadership team.
- Promote staff professional development and conduct performance management of the therapy team.
Position Requirements:
- 2-3 years of clinical supervisory-level experience preferred. Competitive salary matched to the experience of the applicant.
- IM-CANS Certified and strong knowledge of Medicaid required
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records required
- Ability to work with diverse staff and clients
- Work schedule fluctuates to the needs of the staff and youth; flexibility is required. Some nights and weekends are expected.
Education Requirement:
Master’s Degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related subject area along with significant clinical experience in treating trauma and antisocial behavior in youth. Supervisory experience preferred.
