Housing Administrator

Description And Responsibilities

Open Sky Community Services is seeking a Housing Administrator to support individuals living in subsidized housing. The Housing Administrator will s erve as liaison with f unders , l ocal h ousing a uthorities, program s taff, and i ndividuals served regarding housing needs and collaborate with h ousing c oordinators , f acilities, and p rogram s taff to develop a list of approved housing and/or potential landlor d s for supported housing

The Housing Administrator will also a ssist with the administration of federal and state housing grants including Facilities Consolidation Fund, HOME Funds, Housing Stabilization Funds, Affordable Housing Trust Fund, HUD-Section 8, etc.

Other Key Responsibilities

• Mai nt ain database of rental information for subsidy recipients.
• Report monthly occupancy statistics to local housing authorities. Calculate and document resident C harges for C are .
• Ensure timely rent/subsidy payments in collaboration with the Business Office and Housing Coordinators. Obtain all necessary financial paperwork directly from guardians/ payees , for all subsidies.
• Assist staff with obtaining required documentation for subsidy certifications.
  
  

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
• Valid Drivers license and acceptable driving history, required.
• Minimum 3 year s of experience in property management and/or housing administration , required .
• Knowledge of the application process for state and federal subsidies , required .
• Must have excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
