Job Title : Rehabilitation Therapy - Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Specialty : Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Monday - Friday, Days

Guaranteed Hours : 32 hours per week

Experience : New graduates accepted; SNF experience highly preferred

License : State License required

Certifications : 8 Hours of Dementia Training

Must-Have :

  • Completed prescreen
  • Resume and license verification
  • Three references

Job Description :

  • Work collaboratively with licensed physical therapists to provide rehabilitation services to patients.
  • Assist patients with exercises and activities as prescribed by the physical therapist.
  • Help in setting up and maintaining therapy equipment.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes to the primary physical therapist.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient case discussions.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Conduct patient care activities in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to patient care and therapy session documentation.
  • Conduct background checks and screenings, including county criminal (7 years for all counties lived and worked), federal criminal (7 years or more), multi-state criminal search (7 years or more), nationwide sex offender search (7 years or more), HHS / OIG search, GSA search, SAM search, CORI Massachusetts background, and social security number trace.
  • Provide 1 Step PPD or Quantiferon or proof of positive PPD and chest X-ray.
