This position is responsible for leading maintenance technicians, coordinating preventive and emergency maintenance, improving equipment reliability, and minimizing production downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and develop maintenance technicians while assigning daily work orders and priorities.
- Oversee preventive, scheduled, and emergency maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis to reduce equipment downtime.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules, contractors, vendors, and equipment repairs.
- Manage maintenance projects, parts inventory, and departmental resources.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food safety standards.
- Monitor maintenance performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and support production goals.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food processing, beverage, dairy, or related manufacturing environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of PLCs, electrical systems, hydraulics, and mechanical equipment.
- Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Technical degree, associate's degree, or equivalent technical training preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and holidays.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to industrial equipment and noise.
- Approximately 75% plant floor and 25% office work.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
