We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Sales Representative to drive showroom sales and cultivate strong partnerships within the design community. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and representing luxury furnishings and textile collections to residential and hospitality design professionals.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, sales-oriented, and experienced in high-end furnishings and textiles, with a proven ability to grow market share and exceed sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive showroom sales by presenting and selling luxury furnishings and textile products and services to design professionals within the assigned territory
- Conduct an average of 10–15 sales calls per week with residential and hospitality firms, including both existing clients and prospective accounts
- Perform 5–10 weekly “bird calls” to maintain and update client libraries and product resources
- Meet and exceed individual sales goals and performance targets
- Develop and cultivate new client relationships to expand business opportunities
- Coordinate and manage manufacturer visits, including preparing and presenting weekly visit summaries during team meetings
- Identify and track “Top 10 Projects” and provide weekly progress updates
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely notes within the CRM system regarding all client meetings and interactions
- Represent the showroom and product lines professionally within the design community
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in high-end furnishings and textiles
- Furniture industry knowledge preferred
- Proven track record of sales success, including growing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills
- Highly organized with strong time management and follow-through abilities
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
