Are you passionate about supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ready to grow into a leadership role within a residential educational setting? This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with Division Directors and Assistant Division Directors while playing a meaningful role in student development, staff collaboration, and program excellence.


As a Residential Master Teacher, you will be an active leader within your assigned division, supporting daily operations, mentoring staff, and helping students build independence through our Daily Life Therapy® approach.

Position Overview

The Residential Master Teacher supports the Division Director and Assistant Division Director in overseeing residential programming, staff development, and student services. This role is ideal for an experienced residential educator who is eager to expand leadership skills while remaining directly engaged with students and staff.

What You’ll Do

  • Support students’ daily personal care needs while teaching essential independent living skills in alignment with Daily Life Therapy®

  • Collaborate with Division leadership to design and implement weekly plans aligned with Individual Service Plan (ISP) goals

  • Maintain strong communication and coordination with day program staff to ensure continuity of care

  • Assist with educational assessments, ISP development, and quarterly progress reporting

  • Support the training, mentoring, and onboarding of Overnight Direct Care Staff and Residential Instructors I

  • Contribute feedback and documentation to support staff performance evaluations

  • Ensure accurate documentation, student record maintenance, and strict confidentiality compliance

  • Partner with Division leadership to communicate with families in a timely, respectful, and professional manner

  • Participate actively in student programming, including physical fitness, recreation, and community activities

  • Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative residential environment

  • Attend daily, weekly, and division meetings; participate in IEP and team meetings as requested

  • Promote safety and well-being for students and staff at all times

  • Complete additional duties as assigned by residential and program leadership

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a closely related field

  • Minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience within a residential program using the Daily Life Therapy® methodology

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and emerging leadership skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural environment

  • A positive, professional, and team-oriented approach to work

  • Commitment to student growth, collaboration, and continuous learning
