Job Description: About Us: The Booch Bar is a fast-paced, dynamic restaurant and taproom located in the heart of Hilo. We are passionate about quality food, exceptional service, and our unique craft beverage program. We are currently seeking a proactive, hands-on Front of House (FOH) Manager to lead our service team and oversee daily floor operations.
Position Overview: As the FOH Manager, you will be the driving force on the floor. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can manage a busy service team, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and maintain tight control over daily operational standards.
Key Responsibilities: * Floor Leadership: Direct daily front-of-house operations, supporting staff during peak volume and actively managing guest relations.
- Team Management: Handle the hiring, comprehensive training, and weekly scheduling for all FOH staff.
- Cost Control: Manage the labor budget effectively through strategic scheduling and real-time floor adjustments.
- Daily Operations: Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash management, facility cleanliness, and front-of-house inventory.
Requirements & Qualifications: * 2 years of front-of-house restaurant management or supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to train and motivate a high-volume service team.
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, labor management, and daily administrative duties.
- Preferred: Knowledge of or passion for craft beer, kombucha, and fermentation processes is a strong plus.
