A long-established manufacturing company is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join its finance and HR team. The company operates multiple facilities nationwide.
About the Role
You’ll handle accurate, timely payroll processing across several locations, partner closely with HR to verify employee data, maintain compliance with payroll regulations, work with an HRIS provider, and assist with reporting, audits, and payroll-related analysis.
What You Need
- 3 years of payroll experience for a multi-state or multi-site organization
- Associate degree preferred; payroll certification is a plus
- Experience with time-tracking systems, HRIS/ERP platforms, and payroll accounting
- Strong Excel and Word skills, Dayforce a plus
- Familiarity with Dayforce helpful but not required
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll and manage time/attendance data
- Balance payroll, taxes, deductions, and resolve exceptions
- Coordinate accurate employee records, benefits elections, and garnishments
- Maintain tax setups with HRIS provider
- Support year-end reporting (W-2)
- Prepare payroll journal entries and reconcile to the general ledger
- Provide payroll reports and metrics as needed
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
