Controller (Hybrid | 3 Days Onsite)
Salary: $130K–$155K Base Bonus
Position Summary
Our client, a global manufacturing organization, is seeking a Controller to oversee accounting and financial operations. This role partners closely with plant leadership to drive financial performance, operational improvements, cost control, and business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead site accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing, and margin analysis
- Manage tax-related activities, including compliance support, tax reporting, and coordination with internal/external tax partners
- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve profitability and efficiency
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance
- Support audits, cash flow management, and capital expenditure tracking
- Lead and develop accounting team members
- Improve reporting processes and ERP utilization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Previous Controller, Plant Controller, or Assistant Controller experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost accounting, and operational finance
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
- Strong leadership and business partnering skills
