Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Assist with food handling, food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Utilize reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements for smooth service flow
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience or food service background is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and billing are essential
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to multitask effectively with excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or cashiering enhances your candidacy
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is key
