The member in this position is responsible for maintaining customer service, generating sales, preparing food, general housekeeping, and maintaining a clean work area in adherence to all company policies and standards of behavior.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to opening and closing procedures
- Prepare food items according to the Par sheet
- Ensure all items are labeled correctly
- Set up work area completely before opening for lunch (chopping station, expo station, hot station, signage & displays etc.)
- Prepare dressings according to the recipes provided
- Bake cookies and bread
- Ensure each guest receives outstanding customer service in a warm and friendly environment
- Assist with POS as needed
- Responsible for generating sales and cross selling all products and services within The Bodacious Family of Shops
- Adhere to dress code, standards of behavior, and all company policies, procedures and practices
- Maintain a clean work area throughout entire shift
- Prepare for the next day
- Detects and ensures disposal of spoiled or unattractive food
- Completes production sheets and other records as required
- Receive inventory by checking invoices to ensure all items are accounted for
- Stock inventory in accordance with health code (i.e. no raw meats above raw vegetables)
- Break down and clean work area at the end of shift (stove top cleaned, sheet pans cleared and cleaned, dishes, sweep & mop floor, cover food, ensure food is put away properly, etc.)
- Make sure ovens are turned off
- May work special events and assist in all other departments; as needed with approval of supervisor(s)
- Communicate customer requests to management
- Performs all other duties as requested or directed
- Must be willing and able to work and train in multiple areas of the business

- Required to stand, walk, and lift items (up to 25 lbs.) on a regular basis
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed

Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED and one to three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The key physical requirements of this position includes the ability to walk and stand for an extended period of time, lift up to 25 pounds, and the use of standard kitchen equipment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a regular, part-time, non-exempt position. Typical days and hours of work will vary according to business needs to include weekends and evenings.
