Job Requirements

• Age: 21-35
• US Citizen: No
• High School Grad/GED: High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid State Driver’s License: Yes
• Ability to Read/Speak English: Yes
• Vision: Correctable to 20/40
• College: Completion of 60 credit hours
• Necessary Certifications: Successfully pass the physical ability Police Officer Wellness Evaluation Report (POWER) from a certified agency within 12 months prior to Board of Police Commissioners interview date.
• Additional Requirements: Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  
  

Hiring Process

• Complete Personal History Questionnaire via National Testing Network site.
• Completion of the National Testing Network written examination with (a passing score of 70% required).
• Oral interview(s)
• Background investigation
