Are you a hands-on leader who thrives on keeping facilities running smoothly and teams performing at their best? We’re looking for a Maintenance Director to oversee a skilled maintenance and custodial team and ensure the community is safe, comfortable, and top-notch for residents.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, train, and mentor maintenance and custodial staff.
- Keep buildings, grounds, and equipment in peak condition.
- Manage work orders, minor construction projects, and unit turnovers.
- Supervise outside vendors and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
- Develop preventative maintenance programs for all systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevators).
- Conduct inspections and enforce OSHA safety standards.
- Oversee inventory, tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Assist with budgeting and disaster preparedness programs.
What You Bring:
- Proven maintenance leadership experience.
- Skilled in trades: HVAC, plumbing, electrical.
- Blueprint reading and regulatory knowledge.
- Excellent customer service skills, especially with senior residents.
- Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and work-order software.
- Valid driver’s license.
