Job description
New residential home services company launching in Shaker Heights and communities east of Cleveland, Ohio. We're building a one-call brand for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical — with a direct-hire, in-house team. We do not use outside contractors or third-party subcontractors.
The Role
We're hiring a licensed journeyman or master tradesperson (HVAC, plumbing, or electrical) to join as a founding lead technician. You bring the license and craft; we bring the brand, customers, and growth.
Responsibilities
• Perform residential HVAC, plumbing, or electrical service and installation for homeowners in Shaker Heights and east-side Cleveland communities
• Serve as a founding face of Hearth Comfort — professional communication, quality workmanship, and pride in the craft
• Help establish field standards and best practices as we launch and grow
• Collaborate with ownership on scheduling, customer communication, and operational feedback
Qualifications
• Valid Ohio OCILB license (HVAC, plumbing, or electrical), or on track to earn one; we can support licensing costs for the right candidate
• Residential experience; familiarity with older homes east of Cleveland is a plus
• Strong customer communication and workmanship standards
• Interest in building a company as part of our W-2 team — not outside subcontract work
