Summary
The Non-Medical Transportation Driver provides safe non-medical transportation to clients in the Blick Center Program. The driver ensures timely, safe, and respectful transportation using agency vehicles and complies with all local, state, and federal traffic regulations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Provides non-medical transportation for clients and provide assistance to clients as needed.
- Complete all transportation documentation in accordance to applicable standards, requirements, and expected timelines.
- Adheres to each client’s Individual Service Plans (ISPs) as it applies to transportation needs.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety
- Maintain an active driver’s license with less than 4 points
- Provide crisis intervention to clients as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Two years of transportation experience is preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license with 4 points or less
Physical Demands
- Individual must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to implement P.B.S.C.I. procedures as needed
- Must maintain clean and orderly transportation area, free from clutter and potential safety hazards.
Working Conditions
- Field and Community based position
