Job Description
We are seeking a dependable Newspaper Delivery Driver to service a rural motor route in and around Delta, Ohio. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent part-time income with a predictable schedule.
Deliveries are made to roadside boxes and newspaper tubes using your own vehicle.
Route Details
- Approx. 45 papers on Thursday
- Approx. 55 papers on Sunday
- Route takes about 2 hours per delivery day
- Early morning delivery (pickup around 2:00–3:00 AM)
- Rural driving – minimal traffic
Pay & Compensation
- $130–$150 per week, depending on route performance

- Paid weekly

Schedule
- Thursday: Delivery completed by 6:00 AM
- Sunday: Delivery completed by 7:30 AM
- Consistent weekly schedule
Independent Contractor (1099) Status
This position is a 1099 independent contractor role. Drivers are responsible for:
- Their own vehicle, fuel, and insurance
- Taxes and vehicle maintenance
- Securing coverage if unable to deliver (advance notice required)
Requirements
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Ability to work early mornings
- Ability to lift and carry bundles of newspapers
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable driving rural routes in all weather conditions
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $135.00 - $150.00 per week
