What are the responsibilities and job description for the Whale's Tail Cook position at The Black Whale?
Last summer, Servedwell, the parent company of The Black Whale and Joe's Original in Dartmouth opened the Whale's Tail Clam Bar on Pier 3 in New Bedford. The vision for the Whale’s Tail is an old school “clam bar”: a “shack” serving fresh, locally caught seafood in a casual, beachy environment. It’s a place that is fun and cool, where locals can gather and get a taste for the fishing industry. The Whale's Tail was a hit! Now, we are looking to reopen this summer and draw even more attention to the area.
We are planning our grand opening for the summer and are looking for cooks to hop on board! We are looking for individuals with a passion for great food and hospitality. You will be responsible for preparing a menu of fun, classic dishes and will be a member of a close-knit team. No previous culinary experience is necessary, only a desire to learn. Our goal this summer is to produce great food and to have a great time!
