Kitchen Dishwasher

Seeking a dishwasher to join our team! Seeking part-time evening hours Saturday-Sunday shifts. Teamwork skills are required. Maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization is a must. Good vibes only!

Essential Roles:

• Complete opening cleaning schedule of restaurant dinning and kitchen/dish area.
• Ensure all dishes , cutlery, and glasses are properly sanitized before further use.
• Keep inventory of all cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Keep a clean and sanitary work station, including all cooking equipment, tables, shelves and refrigeration equipment.
• Inspect equipment before and after use, making sure everything is clean and in proper working order.
• Follow opening and closing checklists to ensure that the kitchen is closed safely and properly.
• Bathroom sanitation and light cleaning as assigned.
• Maintain a positive and professional rapport with all co-workers and guests in the restaurant.

Qualifications

• 1 year cleaning or dishwashing experience is a plus, not a necessity.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all personnel.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs regularly, as well as bend, stoop and reach, as well as remain standing for as many as 8 hours.
• Maintain personal hygiene standards in accordance with Virginia State Health Standards for Food Service Employees.
