Brunch Server / Hotel Front Desk Associate

We’re excited to welcome Brunch Server and Hotel Front Desk Associate to Bishop Block Bottle Shop, The Bishop Hotel’s in-house wine bar & café.

As one of the first points of contact for our guests and visitors, this role is all about creating warm, memorable experiences.

We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, reliable, and genuinely enjoys hospitality. The position is multi-faceted and dynamic, you’ll have the chance to do a little of everything: welcoming guests for check-in, answering calls and emails, making reservations, crafting espresso drinks, pouring wine and cocktails, and serving in our café and garden courtyard.

This role is a great fit if you’re positive, hardworking, and thrive in an active, fast-paced environment. Previous wine knowledge is a plus, but most importantly, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in great service and teamwork.

What you’ll be doing:

• Welcoming and serving brunch to guests in the café, wine bar, and garden courtyard
• Preparing espresso drinks, wine, beer, and simple cocktails
• Plating and running food, bussing tables, and maintaining a clean space
• Handling guest check-ins and reservations
• Answering phone calls and emails with a friendly, professional tone
• Supporting daily operations: opening/closing duties, side work, till counting
• Staying familiar with our menus and offerings so you can confidently guide guests

What we’re looking for:

• Previous hospitality or restaurant experience (2 years preferred)
• Strong customer service skills and a warm, welcoming presence
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a lively environment
• Team player with great communication and time management skills
• Day and evening availability, including weekends and holidays
• Seeking Saturday Sunday AM brunch shift Potentially Friday PM
