What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Front Desk Agent position at The Marshall Suites?
You will provide superior customer service. Responsible for checking guests into and out of the hotel as well as answering phone calls making reservations & answering customer inquiries. Properly compiles, completes and distributes reports to all management and other relevant staff. Must respond to and follow up on on all of guests requests to ensure that the guest is satisfied with the hotel's services and accommodations. As the Front desk is your work area, you ensure that the front desk and lobby area is kept clean, organized, visually appealing and well stocked with all necessary supplies.positively representing and promoting the hotel.
1. Checking guests into and out of the hotel in an accurate, speedy and courteous manner.
2. Efficiently able to handle all payments received. Balancing/verifying all monetary transactions into the appropriate accounts.
3. Ensures that all hotel keys are distributed to the appropriate party and guest privacy is maintained.
4. Responsible for maintaining all documentation regarding room registration, changes, charges, credit card transactions, customer service and maintenance issues to be reported to the appropriate staff.
