What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farmers Market Assistant position at The Big Brine?
We’re looking for a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Farmer's Market Assistant. In this role, you'll represent our brand by providing excellent customer service and driving sales in a vibrant market setting.
Responsibilities:
- Sell fermented and pickled food products at local farmers markets
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service
- Set up, prep, and take down the market booth
- Maintain a clean and inviting display throughout the market day
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently and engaging with customers
- Available Saturdays and/or Sundays from approximately 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (including setup and takedown time)
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Bonus:
- Having your own vehicle to transport products to and from the market is a plus and will be additionally compensated
