Relationship Development Manager / Sales Executive – Fire Life Safety

Position Overview
We are seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Relationship Development Manager (Sales Executive) to lead business development efforts across the Houston market.
This role is ideal for a true “hunter” who thrives on building relationships, generating new business, and delivering a white-glove client experience. You’ll be responsible for expanding market share, managing key relationships, and driving revenue growth across your territory.
Key Responsibilities
• Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals
• Conduct site walks and develop service proposals across fire life safety offerings (extinguishers, sprinklers, alarms, fire pumps, generators, etc.)
• Present and position FireCloud as a key differentiator to prospective clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, facilities leaders, and procurement teams
• Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets and activity KPIs
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, customer service, and finance to ensure seamless service delivery
Ideal Candidate Profile
• 3 years of outside sales experience (fire life safety, building services, or B2B services preferred)
• Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales goals
• Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
• Self-starter with high accountability and a team-oriented mindset
• Experience within multifamily or fire protection industry is highly preferred
• Knowledge of fire codes, NFPA standards, or life safety regulations is a plus
