Equipment Tech IV – Mechanical Technician (Rotating Equipment Focus)

Required Skills:
- Minimum 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience, specifically in maintaining and repairing rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, VRUs)
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform root cause analysis
- Experience with high-speed compressors and engines (500-2500 HP preferred)
- Thorough knowledge of surface equipment types and applications in the oil and gas industry
- Basic troubleshooting skills in automation and electrical systems
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office software
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Nice to Have Skills:
- Additional experience in maintaining and repairing high-horsepower compressors and engines
- Certification or training in advanced mechanical troubleshooting
- Experience supporting compression surveillance, uptime maximization, and process optimization
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Relevant technical certifications or prior experience in maintenance roles within the oil and gas sector in the Delaware Basin
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work an 8-day on / 6-day off rotation schedule
- Willingness to travel within the facility, including climbing and traversing long distances
- Ability to lift, carry, climb, and work at heights
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and respond to alarms
- Ability to work in potentially hazardous environments (chemical exposure, extreme temperatures, heights)
