What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract negotiations, specifically within IT-related sectors
- Proven ability to redline and negotiate terms in IT agreements including SaaS, software licenses, hardware, telecom, SOWs, and Order Forms
- Strong collaboration skills working with legal, risk management, technical leads, and vendors
- Self-driven with the autonomy to manage negotiations from start to finish
- Bachelor’s degree required (experience may supplement)
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience negotiating SaaS agreements specifically
- Familiarity with policies and procedures related to oil and gas project contracts
- Exposure to commercial negotiations focusing on liabilities and contractual limitations
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
- 3-5 years of direct contract negotiation experience beyond basic commercial deals, including limitations of liability and other complex contractual provisions
- Prior experience working in or with oil and gas industry contracts—preferred but not mandatory
Other Requirements:
- Location primarily in The Woodlands, TX with a hybrid work schedule (Tuesday-Thursday in-office, 9/80 schedule)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to commit to an initial 12-month contract with potential for full-time conversion
