Overview
We are seeking a Wastewater Operator-in-Training for assignment in Walla Walla, Washington. The selected candidate will learn and gains skills involved in the maintenance of equipment and quality control testing at a wastewater treatment facility.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
** This position has a rotational on-call schedule **
Responsibilities
- Operates treatment facilities to control flow and processing of water/wastewater, sludge and effluent
- Observe variations in operating conditions
- Interpret meter and gauge readings
- Collect samples
- Maintain shift logs
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- A valid Driver’s License
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
