Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of land and rights of way acquisition processes
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in creating maps (Google Earth) and using Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to prepare reports on easements, title updates, and landowner claims
- Experience in investigating and resolving damage claims
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license and active notary certification
- Must be able to drive personal vehicle and travel locally within assigned coverage area
- Ability to mail merge and handle administrative tasks efficiently
Nice to Have Skills:
- Familiarity with permitting processes from private, local, state, and federal agencies
- Previous experience in public meetings or representing a company to landowners
- Knowledge of legal agreement development and negotiation
- Familiarity with GIS tools and mapping software
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in land management, real estate, or related fields preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in land rights, right of way, or a related discipline
Other Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for local travel
- Able to commit to day trips within the coverage area, with no overnight stays typically required
