Opportunity Snapshot:
- Compensation: $102/hour
- Location: Midland, TX or Houston, TX (will be required to travel back and forth)
- Assignment Duration: 12 months
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours
- Benefits: Comprehensive with 401K, holidays and PTO
Responsibilities
- Responsible for understanding business requirements, data mappings, create and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models using data modeling tools and handing over the physical design/DDL scripts to the data engineers for implementations of the data models
- Set standards for database operations, programming, query processes, and security
- Create and optimize data models for warehouse infrastructure and workflow
- Integrate new systems with existing warehouse structure and refine system performance and functionality
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field required
- Analyst with 7 years of data analysis experience , inclusing handling large datasets
- Knowledge in coding PowerBI scripts, Tableau, Spotfire, or similar to create dashboards that pull information from other data sources
- Familiary with/ skills in Siteview, ProCount, and/or SAP will be an asset
- Additional background in surface facilities, emissions estimations, and power systems are preferred.
- Technical background in implementation of APIs to merge data between different systems would be ideal, but buildingAPIs would not be part of this job (handled by IT)
- Previous experience in a closely related position
- Associates degree in Drafting or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
