What You'll Do

• Lead troubleshooting efforts related to process reliability and production hurdles
• Monitor plant performance, identify vulnerabilities, and spearhead corrective actions
• Support and drive root cause investigations, ensuring lessons learned translate into actionable solutions
• Conduct process studies, simulations, and optimization projects to enhance efficiency and safety
• Play a key role in Management of Change (MOC), PSSR, and safety activities
• Develop technical recommendations to improve reliability, operability, and capacity
• Support stabilization and startup activities, ensuring smooth, safe operations during transitions
• Collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, process controls, and external engineering teams
  
  

Required Skills

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering or related field
• 8 years of experience in LNG, upstream, gas processing, refining, or petrochemical environments
• Strong troubleshooting, process safety, and plant optimization skills
• Proficiency with process simulation tools and performance monitoring systems
• Proven ability to translate operational challenges into sustainable reliability enhancements
  
  

Nice To Have Skills

• Experience supporting LNG Train 1 stabilization and Train 2 startup readiness
• Familiarity with engineering studies, surveillance, and RCFAs
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  
  

Preferred Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• Extensive hands-on onsite operations experience, particularly in high-level process environments
  
  

Other Requirements

• Onsite presence at Sabine Pass, TX; local or non-local candidates considered
• Willingness to travel as needed for project requirements
• Certification in process safety or related areas is a plus
