Required Skills:
- Proven experience in instrumentation, electrical, or industrial automation within manufacturing, refining, chemical, or upstream environments.
- Strong knowledge of process instrumentation measurements such as pressure, temperature, flow, level, and analytical devices.
- Hands-on experience with automation platforms like Honeywell, Emerson, Siemens, Rockwell, or equivalent.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment and control system issues effectively.
- Familiarity with electrical systems including motors, MCCs, and VFDs.
- Proficiency in using CMMS for preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams.
- Ability to perform Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures in compliance with safety standards.
- Capable of supporting onsite and remote operations through SCADA systems and industrial communication networks.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with ABB TotalFlow devices, Fisher ROC equipment, HMIs, and field instrumentation setup.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices related to control systems.
- Experience supporting unit startups, shutdowns, turnarounds, and capital projects.
- Familiarity with industrial wireless communication systems such as FreeWave, Cambium, Ubiquiti, or Red Lion.
- Certification for working at heights with approved fall protection.
- Ability and willingness to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and support emergency response activities.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Technical diploma or certification in electronics, instrumentation, or electrical technology.
- 3 years of relevant industrial automation and electrical maintenance experience.
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license; a truck utility bed is preferred.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to pass necessary certifications and safety training.
- Willingness to support on-call responsibilities and emergency response services.
