What You'll Do:
- Review and ensure operating procedures meet OSHA standards, and contribute to creating new procedures.
- Manage all documentation related to MOC's (Management of Change) processes and assist senior technicians.
- Train towards becoming a senior technician, gaining valuable expertise along the way.
- Handle parts inventory, track costs, and ensure timely project management.
- Troubleshoot plant and compressor station equipment, including CO2 compression systems, with a high level of technical skill.
- Verify documentation accuracy and participate in PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) assessments.
- Manage chemical usage proactively to optimize plant performance.
- Oversee loads between compressor stations and hubs, supporting seamless operations.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve issues efficiently and maintain high safety standards.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of compressor station operations and plant troubleshooting.
- Experience using Excel for analyzing chemical usage and data.
- Ability to interpret P&ID diagrams and verify documentation.
- Excellent decision-making skills with safety as a top priority.
- Effective leadership and relationship-building abilities.
- Humble, open to feedback, and eager to learn.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in chemical management and inventory tracking.
- Previous exposure to safety protocols and OSHA compliance.
- Familiarity with PHA processes and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to assist in developing and implementing operating procedures.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in plant operations, compressor stations, or related technical fields is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
