Position Overview: Bank Teller/CSR
In this role, you will process payments, accept deposits, and handle withdrawals while balancing the responsibility of conducting error-free transactions with delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a high level of concentration and the ability to remain friendly and professional with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with processing transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
- Maintain and balance cash drawers, reconciling discrepancies as needed.
- Resolve complaints or account discrepancies and answer customer inquiries.
- Inform customers about BSB’s products and services.
- Open new accounts and account maintenance.
- Ensure your workspace is clean, organized, and professional.
- Handle currency, transactions, and confidential information responsibly.
- Adhere to all bank financial and security regulations and procedures.
- Follow all Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) regulations.
- Recognize unusual or suspicious activities and report as required.
- Adhere to cash transaction, monetary instrument, and OFAC verification policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with cash handling and on-the-job training preferred.
- Knowledge of bank products and services is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in basic math and computer skills.
- High level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy.
