The Bennett Law Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Litigation Legal Assistant to join our growing legal team. This is a full-time, on-site position for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced personal injury environment.
Position Details
• Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Location: On-Site – Miami, FL (No Remote Work)
• Compensation: Paid weekly; rate discussed directly with the Office Manager
Requirements
- plaintiff-side personal injury experience
- Experience managing cases f
- Strong understanding of PI case flow, deadlines, and procedures
- Experience with medical records demand packages
- Ability to handle a high-volume caseload independently
- Proficiency with case management software (Clio)
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
Responsibilities Include
- Draft and file complaints, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
- Manage state & federal e-filing (Florida experience preferred)
- Track deadlines, court dates, and statutes of limitations
- Prepare settlement demand packages and assist with case valuation
- Review and organize medical records, bills, and supporting documentation
- Coordinate depositions, mediations, and hearings
- Handle discovery (requests, responses, production)
- Communicate with clients, providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel
- Assist with trial prep (exhibits, binders, witness coordination)
