Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cataloguer. This position involves Cataloguing (photographing, researching, labeling and organizing items for sale) and assisting with general operations. The ideal candidate will have solid computer skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a willingness to support various day-to-day tasks within the organization. General knowledge of fine arts and decorative arts is preferred.
Job Requirements:
- Prepare and catalogue items for processing, sale, or auction
- Research unique pieces
- Input data accurately into internal systems
- Assist with organizing, labeling, and tracking inventory
- Support daily operational tasks as needed
- Collaborate with the team to ensure workflow efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area
- Must be able to lift merchandise up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to read and write English
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills
- Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and documentation.
- Proficient in basic computer applications (Word, Google, email, etc.)
- Prior administrative experience or personal assistant experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
