Position Summary
The Adult Day Services Supervisor plays a key leadership role in Benedictine’s mission to help adults with developmental disabilities achieve their greatest potential. This position provides oversight, training, and daily support to staff while ensuring high-quality services, compliance with state guidelines, and meaningful opportunities for individuals served. The Supervisor emphasizes skill development, independence, and person-centered care while fostering a positive team culture.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (hours may vary based on program needs)
Pay
$21.00 – $24.00/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direction, training, and daily support to staff
- Develop and monitor staff work schedules
- Oversee onboarding, training, and performance evaluations for staff
- Monitor compliance with required trainings and documentation
- Review and approve timecards in accordance with payroll deadlines
- Coordinate transportation services and vehicle usage/mileage documentation
- Manage petty cash and submit reimbursements as needed
- Ensure accurate progress documentation and billable hours reporting
- Provide direct support during staff vacancies
- Offer crisis intervention and complete incident reports as required
- Support skill-building, community involvement, and advocacy activities
- Collaborate with job developers and promote meaningful activities for those served
Additional Duties
- Attend required trainings, meetings, and professional development opportunities
- Maintain current certifications as required (coordinated and paid for by Benedictine)
- Support coverage needs by assisting in other programs or training new staff
- Cooperate with inspections, licensing, and agency investigations
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Human Services preferred; High School Diploma/GED with two (2) years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Minimum three (3) years of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities
- Previous supervisory/management experience preferred
- Knowledge of Day Habilitation, Job Development, DDA, and DORS service definitions required
- Valid driver’s license and insurability under Benedictine policy
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented

- Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
- Full range of motion in arms, legs, hands, and fingers
- Clear vision, hearing, and speech required
