What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Craft Recruiter position at The Bell Company?
- Maintain the ethics and professionalism of The Bell Company in the execution of the duties and responsibilities of the position.
- Adhere to Bell Standards so all projects and systems that we use operate identically to every Bell project.
- Build a portfolio of highly productive Craftsmen across all disciplines. Including temp labor that has been utilized in the region.
- Manage the Certified Craft Program for the region
- Be involved in the handpicking of Foremen to assure they are picked based on their capabilities.
- Spanish Bilingual is a PLUS
- Utilize existing Bell Employees and New hires to develop new leads for open positions in the region.
- Establish and continually drive the Craft recruiting programs across the region by creating relationships with Tech and Industrial schools, ABC Programs from various geographic areas, and the relationships with State Unemployment Programs, and so forth.
- Establish a mechanism to communicate with all Craftsmen on the Company’s eligible for rehire listing.
- Determine the best resources for local ads to fill open positions.
- Manage the Company’s Apprenticeship Programs in the region including
- Interviewing and recruiting
- Apprentice hours, logging and advancements in level and pay
- Coordinating school schedules, PO’s and payments to education providers
- Completion of apprentice records and migration of information to Resource Coordinator.
- Acquire monthly man loaded schedules for the project sites to identify and project the regional craft needs across all Projects so that all Project milestones are met and that new hires are timely and loyal Craft can be level loaded from project to project through transfers and reassignments.
- Maintain the geographic Craft wage rates as well as the need in those areas for completion bonuses, overtime, and so forth.
- On projects assignments or on days with numerous hires, be present on the project site to facilitate the onboarding duties and process new hires.
Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
