We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Chef to join our team.
Position: Head Chef
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with staff to ensure the well-being and education of children.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with staff and parents.
- Adhere to Barrington School and ODJFS policies and procedures.
- Perform assigned kitchen duties during scheduled hours.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed, such as:
- Providing breaks for colleagues
- Assisting as an extra person in classrooms
- Participating in bus runs
Professional Development
- Attend 6 hours of Professional Development annually, as required by ODJFS.
- Participate in monthly staff meetings to stay informed and engaged.
Requirements
- Dress according to Barrington School's uniform policy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to bend and stand for extended periods.
