Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste regularly.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
• Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times.
• Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
• Help with bussing tables and cleaning dining areas when required.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus.
• Experience in banquet service or catering environments is advantageous.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and sanitation standards in a kitchen setting is essential.
