The Barn on Main Restaurant is looking for an experienced cook to join our kitchen team.
We are seeking a fast, efficient, hardworking, and dependable person with at least 1 year of previous experience in a high-pressure commercial kitchen environment. We are willing to train the right candidate on our specific menu items, recipes, and kitchen procedures.
The ideal candidate must be able to multitask, work well under pressure, learn proper timing for firing food orders, and prioritize tasks during busy service.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of commercial kitchen experience
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn our menu and cooking procedures
- Ability to follow recipes, food safety standards, and kitchen instructions
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Schedule:
- Monday through Saturday
- Hours of operation: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Morning and evening shifts available
Pay:
Hourly pay is based on experience, how quickly you learn, and overall performance.
