The Banyan at Montclair has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Assistant.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Perform general and preventive maintenance and repair functions of building and equipment.
- Perform minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, sheet rock and electrical upkeep and emergency repairs and assist contractors to perform major repairs.
- Conduct inspections on a regular basis for necessary upkeep and document findings.
- Ensure that the facility is in compliance in all areas required by State and Federal regulations as well as meeting the Kansas Fire Marshall's requirements.
- Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance such as fire alarm test, zone lines, sprinkler system, and safety surveys.
- This position will be responsible for using the TELS program and keeping all logs, inspections and drills current and up to date.
- Maintain records or documentation per policies.
