Foods Maintenance Technician; 3rd Shift

Starting Pay Rate: $26.50 3rd Shift Differential: $2.50

Description:

The Maintenance Technician provides industrial maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective troubleshooting and repair of systems comprised of PLCs, motor controls, electrical wiring, AC inverters, DC controllers, and industrial mechanical systems including pneumatics, bearings, seals, gears, chains operation of the production facility. Key responsibilities include automated equipment setup, teardown, and sprockets. The use of shop machinery and normal industrial tools for repair purposes supports the fulfillment of these responsibilities.

Identify additional needs for input into, or adjustment to, current and future work plans. •Excellent troubleshooting skills. •Participate in providing technical support to the Emergency Response Team for their shift including the provision of facility knowledge, drawings, plans, and their interpretation should the ne arise. •Critical thinking skills

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be proficient in at least 5 of the following areas and have basic knowledge of the others: •Automated equipment setup, teardown and repair •PLC troubleshooting •Maintenance and repair of motor controls, general industrial wiring and hardware, and electrical troubleshooting •Maintenance and repair of AC inverters, DC controllers and servers •Strong electrical skill set •Maintenance and repair of mechanical systems including pneumatics, bearings, seals, gears, chains, sprockets, pipe fitting, and appropriate lubrication of mechanical systems
