Industrial Maintenance Technician Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyor equipment, bearings, gearboxes, welding, and preventive maintenance. Electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyor equipment, bearings, gearboxes, welding, and preventive maintenance. Electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical failures on production equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Install, align, and maintain motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, fans, and other rotating equipment.
- Replace bearings, chains, sprockets, belts, seals, and other mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Perform basic fabrication, welding, and cutting as needed.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS.
- Work safely while following OSHA regulations and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns during production.
- 5 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical power transmission systems.
- Experience with welding (MIG, TIG, or Stick) and fabrication.
- Familiarity with bearings, alignment, lubrication, and precision measurements.
- Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting (480V, motors, sensors, VFDs) preferred.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures, heights, and confined spaces.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts as needed.
- Industrial manufacturing or sawmill experience.
- PLC troubleshooting experience.
- Forklift, boom lift, or scissor lift certification.
- Millwright experience.
- CMMS experience (Fiix, SAP, etc.).
