Summary: Responsible for overseeing and assisting in the day to day operations of shop floor personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides communication between the shop floor and internal support groups to address all requests for information, quality issues, schedule priorities, and delivery performance.
- Ensures shop floor schedules are adhered to and estimated completion dates are provided and accurately maintained.
- Performs daily time card processing for shop floor employees.
- Attends daily production meetings & line walks.
- Assists with MRB activities including RCCA?s (QCBD).
- Assists in organization of work staging areas as needed to maximize productivity through lean activities.
- Works to ensure operators have the tools and materials needed to perform their job.
- Works to maintain high morale and efficiency in all areas.
- Ensures that all employees in the area understand their jobs.
- Ensures that all employees understand the various safety items required in their areas.
