Assumption School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Religion & Science Middle School Teacher to join our Assumption School Community who exemplifies:

Responsibilities would include creating an engaging learning environment that fosters academic and spiritual growth, develops middle school students’ skills and a love of learning.
Additionally, the candidate must be able to:
Develop and implement daily lesson plans that address spiritual, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
Use diverse instructional techniques such as modeling, observing, questioning, demonstrating, and reinforcing.
Encourage children to develop self-help skills and independence.
Adapt curriculum to meet individual learning needs and initiate referrals when necessary.
Promote positive behavior through redirection, positive reinforcement, and adherence to the school’s behavioral policies.
Maintain positive communication with families through newsletters, daily updates, and as-needed outreach.
Attend regular staff meetings and participate in annual reviews and professional development.
Maintain confidentiality regarding children, families, and staff.
Assist students who may need additional support.
Minimum 2 years of successful elementary/middle school classroom teaching.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Teacher certification.
Demonstrated ability to create engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
Commitment to fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and faith-based environment.
Practicing Catholic in good standing.
