We are looking for an A Janitor to add as part of our team in carrying out cleaning, maintenance and security duties 3 days per week. Let our team support you in your part time endeavor and reaching your goals. Pay is WEEKLY!
This job has 2 locations: Must have a valid Driver's License & Personal Transportation.
Location 1: North Suffolk - Zip Code 23453. This building is completed on Tuesday and Friday evenings from 4:30 - 8:30
Location 2: Downtown Portsmouth - Zip Code 23704. This building is completed on Saturday mornings from 8/9 - 10/11AM.
Responsibilities / Qualifications
- Must be a strong cleaner with experience doing janitorial/custodial work for office buildings.
- Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
- Perform and document routine maintenance activities
- Carry out cleaning tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs on any equipment
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Reliability and dependability is a must.
- Reliable Non-Public Transportation and a valid driver's license is also required.
Skills
- Proven working experience as a Janitor or Custodian in a commercial setting
- Ability to learn to use a walk behind or ride on scrubber
- Understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity and ability to work independently

- Tuesday & Friday - 4:30 PM - 8:30 PM
- Saturdays - 8/9:00 AM - 10/11:00 AM
