The Ash Group is hiring a Project Manager - Engineering for our client, a major electricity and natural gas utility provider. This is a 12-month contract working in Denver, CO (Hybrid) offering a pay rate of $98 per hour based on skillset.
Role Details
- Compensation: $98/hr W2

What You’ll Be Doing
- Typically manages 6–8 projects per year with values range from approximately $300K to $2.5M
- Responsible for supporting the Processing Controls Engineering group within the gas organization.
- The PM will manage multiple capital projects related to facilities and stations on the natural gas transmission and distribution system.
- Managing scope, schedule, and budget across multiple projects.
- Use structured Stage Gate (7-gate) project management process.
- Coordinating contractors and internal cross-functional teams.
- Managing forecasts, accruals, and financial tracking.
What We’re Looking For
- Must have 7 years of current experience as a Project Manager
- Project management experience in the natural gas utility space is required
- Experience with utility or LDC transmission/distribution projects is a must
- Must have a strong understanding of scope, schedule, and budget management
- Financial forecasting, estimating, and accruals experience is required
- Comfort managing multiple concurrent projects is a must
- Background in gas facilities and stations is ideal
