Summary
The Ash Group is hiring an Associates Sales Engineer for our client, a premier network integrator and provider of next-generation, multi-vendor "Factory Built Networks®" and optical domain control software. This is a full-time position working in Richardson, TX (Onsite) offering a salary around 80-85K plus commission based on skillset.
Role Details

What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist with SOW creation
- Help support POCs in lab environments
- Stand up and troubleshoot equipment
- Support senior engineering team
- Work with a team in the planning, design, and operation of customer optical networks.
- Work with sales teams to design and develop winning and profitable solutions.
- Validate customer requests and requirements for network hardware, software, and functionality.
What We’re Looking For
- Must have 1–3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer
- Fundamental understanding of optical networks
- Ability to create SOWs (Statements of Work)
- Experience supporting labs/POCs (Proof of Concepts) and standing up equipment
- Self-starter who can operate with limited direction
- Strong follow-through and ability to complete action items
- Hands-on optical lab experience is a plus
- Exposure to telecom/optical transport environments is a plus
